Andrii Savchenko 

Pryvit from Ukraine!

Andrii from WINTOUR 5 has a rich educational background in Business acquired in Ukraine, Germany, and Romania. His 25 years of life in numbers: 1 PhD in progress, 3 Masters Degrees, 4 languages and 28 countries visited!

In WINTOUR program, Andrii cherishes its diverse environment the most: «It's so fun to be surrounded by people of different origin, culture and age. We empower each other with the knowledge we share while creating life-long bonds that I believe are the most precious».

With deep respect to the wine tradition itself, Andrii abhors the 'extremes', i.e. the degrading conservatism in any major domain. He believes it is vital to implement the nova of the times if this appears organic and sustainable with regard to the culture. That motivated Andrii to undertake the challenge of WINTOUR and breathe in a new life into the world of wine by proposing efficient business strategies & innovative digital solutions.

Education: Master degrees in Marketing and Trade Law, academic exchanges in Germany and Romania in Logistics and Finance.

Professional Background: Andrii has practical experience in brand management, wine retail and digital marketing. He believes that the best way to spread the wine culture is by building strong e-network and multidimensional digital presence.

Other interests: travelling, music (btw, Andrii plays the piano & the violin), history, geopolitics.
Goals: Andrii is driven to master complex digital tools to create efficient e-offers in wine and wine tourism industry. Another aim is to disclose the wine potential of Ukraine and Eastern Europe to the world.

Diego Arruda 

Grab a glass and let's meet Diego, a proud son of the Amazonia forest!

He comes from Pará, Brazil. With a background in communication and gastronomy, Diego also has big experience in photography and education. In his last position before WINTOUR, as a gastronomy professor in a university targeting low income population, he could attest the effectiveness of professional education on the transformation of a community.

His love for the wine made him embrace the WINTOUR experience to go deeper into the wine world and be able to learn throughout the opportunities with professionals of the sector and the academy. Diego dreams to use education to increase sustainability on the wine tourism sector.

          

Josefina Muscianisi 

Say '¡Salud!' to Josefina from Mendoza, Argentina!

She is an Oenologist who dreams of having an organic winery back home and making her own wine. She would also love to give counseling in tourism to wineries. Before WINTOUR, she did harvests all around the world, including: California, New Zealand, France, Australia, and of course her homeland, Argentina.
At the moment she is in Croatia doing her wine tourism and winemaking internships, and she is loving the opportunity to learn about oenology from different parts of the world and being able to get some hands-on experience with wine tourism!

From: Mendoza, Argentina
Languages: Spanish and English.
Education: Bachelor degree in Oenology and agroindustry.
Background: Josefina used to work in the production area of the wine-growing countries of the new and old world, where she got involved with the different autochthonous varieties and got to know the different expressions of the soils.
Other interest: She is nature lover and she loves spending time with her family and friends. She likes photography and being outside, "in action".
Goals: She dreams with making her own wine back home in Mendoza and why not having her own "organic winery". She would also love to counsel wineries in tourism since this is the area she's been specializing during the last months. She has an extensive knowledge about the elements that each country in which she has been, is using for their marketing and communication, therefore she would like to contribute to the very well-developed area of wine tourism that her province already has.

Aleksandra Khilova 

Meet Aleksandra - or 'Sasha'!

Coming from an International Relations background, before WINTOUR she has studied all around the world: Argentina, Finland, Portugal, Uruguay and Japan!

Unlike most of her classmates, she connected with wine just recently, but now as a proud member of WINTOUR 5, she is very excited to work in the direction of sustainable wine tourism development, starting with her internship at Fita Preta winery in Portugal this summer.

Syuzanna Mosikyan  

Say 'Kenac' (cheers in Armenian) to Syuzanna!

She is a bonne vivante and is determined to bring out the intricacies of the wine flavors into gastronomic experiences. Carrying diversified experiences in the world of wine (winemaking, project management, marketing and tourism), she likes to describe herself as being versatile as one of her favorite grape varieties, Riesling, and as bold and vivid as the Cabernet Sauvignon from Priorat - where she had the opportunity to do her wine tourism internship this fall with Perinet.

Education: A year of International Wine business studies in Geisenheim University, Bachelor in Fermentation Technology and Winemaking in Armenian National Agrarian University.
Professional Background: Assistant winemaker in ANAU Voskehat Educational and Research Center of Enology, expert in international winemaking and viticulture projects at Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, wine marketing internship in one of the top VDP wineries Weingut Georg Mueller Stiftung, wine toursim internship in DOQ Priorat, Perinet.
Other interests: its all about wine, cooking with wine, and making new friends with wine. Discovering local and authentic wine producers and personalities is a must! Besides that, classical music, photography, graphic design, swimming, tennis.
Goals: use her passion of winemaking and gastronomy to make every taste count!

Darya Boronilo 

Give a warm welcome to Darya from Kazakhstan!

With a background in business & communications (and 6 languages in her pocket) added to her love for arts and painting, and last but not least, topped by her surrender to the wine world, she plans to mesh all her layers into an innovative tourism product to help people see the beauty of life while discover the great wines from her country.

Professional Background: Regional director and journalist for AFP (Agence France Press), Volunteer, Tourism manager for "Central Asia Travel" club, Volunteer for Sea Turtle Conservation camp ( North Cyprus) , Intern at Arba Wine company (in Almaty, Kazakhstan)
Other interests: Painting, sunsets, local wines from small craft wineries.
Goals: To combine her love for arts, creativity and nature with her love for wine into a modern tourism product that would help people to see additional beauty of life

Eter Gorgiladze 

Meet Eter from Georgia!

Coming from a psychology background, she took a bold move by coming to WINTOUR to change her professional path to meet her passion and connect her future to the wine world. With her eagerness and dedication, she is planning to establish a wine marketing and enotourism consulting company in Georgia, for supporting small and medium-sized wineries.

Professional Background:
Eter used to work in different countries and different sectors. She is sure that her experience in the research field, marketing, communication and wine sector are the best combinations for future success.

Goals: Establish a wine marketing and enotourism consulting company in Georgia. The company will support small and medium-size wineries and provide them services that are essential for their and therefore development of the wine sector in Georgia.

Rezi Tsetskhladze 

Say hi to Rezi from Georgia!

His relationship with wine started when he was only 6 years old while helping his grandma to make wine for their own family consumption, which lead him to pursue formal enology education growing up. His goals are to make organic wine back in his homeland, with sustainable farming practices, respecting biodiversity, and creating a more harmonious place on Earth.

Patti Wilcox 

Meet Patti from New York and her amazing hard cider awestruckciders!

By blending classic wine making techniques with modern craft beer ingredients, she created an innovative cider that engages all senses. "Our name is our goal - when you experience our cider, I want you to be AWESTRUCK!"
In 2020 the company expanded into canned wine with the same ambition! After years spent learning on the fly, she's decided to formalize her education and build her expertise in international wine tourism innovation!

Marie Berson 

Say 'coucou' to the youngest member of Wintour 5.0, Marie from France!

After her degree in English literature and volunteering for a year as youth worker in Dublin, she decided to follow her parent's footsteps and study wine, soon to become the 10th generation at the head of her family winery. Even though she is fond of travels and wants to see the world, her heart belongs to her hometown in the Loire Valley, Anjou.

Professional Background: Seasonal worker for 6 years in Domaine du Clos de Lassay in the vineyard (pruning, harvest...), in the winery (bottling, quality controls...) and in the cellar (tastings, visits, sales...), 1 year youth worker with the YMCA in Dublin, Ireland

Dea Purtseladze  

Give a warm welcome to Dea!

After getting her diploma in Viticulture and Oenology in Georgia, she went for an exchange program in Germany to learn about the International Wine Business. With that knowledge and her curiosity for exploring the Asian markets, she started working for a wine company that exports Georgian wines to China. But her eagerness to explore all sides of the wine world couldn't be contained within, and she decided to apply and be part of the WINTOUR family, as the wine tourism sector is the newest part of this growing industry!

Claudia Erpili 

Ciao Ragazzi! Meet Claudia, a proud Italian with a big love for wine and pasta. It all began back when she was still a kid, after dipping her finger in her dad's glass of wine. Along with her passion for experiencing new cultures, her goal is to travel around the world sharing the wisdom and the secrets of wine.

From: Bergamo, Italy

Education: bachelor in Agricultural sciences majoring in Enology and Viticulture, at Università Statale di Milano.
Professional background: experiences in the wine industry in Germany (Rhaingau) and Italy (Franciacorta), Lifeguard, kids' English teacher and face painter.
Other interests: traveling, sports (not running please), nature, eating lots of carbs, obsessed with good hot teas, and meeting awesome people.
Goals: Would love to travel and share the magic world of wine, promote sustainable tourism, and enjoy life with a glass of wine in her hand, especially during Covid-19 times.

África Pino  

Say hola to África, native from the enchanting city of Granada! She is easy to spot: always carrying a book on her hands (which lately has been heavily about wines). Her dream is to promote her region abroad, via wine and travel!

Vivian Tsai 

Welcome Vivian from Taiwan, the new intern support for the WINTOUR marketing team!
Vivian's professional background is in business and marketing, but when studying in Australia, she stumbled into wine and it has become an inseparable part of her life. Now, with WINTOUR, she is ready to embrace wine as part of her career. Cheers to that!

Nina Keyser 

Meet Nina from South Africa joining Wintour 5!


Since graduating in Viticulture and Oenology, she has worked over 10 harvests in South Africa, California, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, and Australia.

With the purpose of documenting her wine journey and to educate wine enthusiasts about wine and viticulture, she started an Instagram account called Wine and Wonder lust.

One of her goals for the future is to assist wineries and other wine businesses with their social media challenges and goals.

Alessandra Azevedo 

Meet Alessandra Azevedo!

She has lived in Montreal, Canada and Dubai, UAE before starting WINTOUR Master.
She has lived in Dubai for 11 years since 2009. At that time, she was a flight attendant for Emirates Airline.
Alessandra was raised in the biggest wine region of Brazil, and she has always loved wine. During her travels around 60 countries so far, she ended up discovering all the different wine regions and styles.
Alessandra had to make a decision; therefore, she ended her journey as a flight attendant to pursue her passion, which is wine. 
She did her wine tourism internship in Sicily and winemaking one in Douro.
After graduation, Alessandra is exploring the endless possibilities and trying to settle down in Porto.
