Some wine tourism models benefiting the success of a monoculture and few stakeholders in regions that need overarching socioeconomic development. I hope to work with local communities to develop sustainable, collaborative wine tourism models that are relevant to and highlight New and Old World wine regions' unique cultural, historic, natural and agricultural assets.

Natalia Coto

Meet Natalia Coto Hernández, from Wintour 3.0!
Proudly representing Costa Rica, a small country where the interest and passion for wine keeps on increasing day by day. I'm a proof of that! In 2004, I had graduated from tourism and I was working in hospitality. In that moment, the wine world knocked on my door and it was love at first sight. I started to learn on my own and then I studied wine more in depth with the sommelier diploma. I spend a few months in Mendoza, Argentina where I realized I truly loved wine tourism. But I was still missing that professional connection I wanted from both of my careers and this is what Wintour brought to my life. This master was the one I had looked for many years and it has given me the opportunity to learn so much...the knowledge, the experiences and the amazing wines, now I have countless stories to tell. I can assure you #wintourmaster is a new world of possibilities!

Lyka Caparas
Meet Lyka Caparas, from Wintour 3.0!
"I believe in authentic product stories, and this is one reason that drove me to wine. It is a product that is so rich with so many things to be described of, in different angles and layers. Being in product and branding management, I've acquired the talent of reshaping perceptions, simplifying ideas, and enriching memories with product through marketing.
#wintourmaster opens me to several other cultures and understanding that I can share in my country - Philippines; a very hospitable country with a developing taste for wine. Being in a non wine-region, I believe that nothing holds any country to learn, appreciate and understand."

When I got accepted to be part of #wintourmaster, the opportunities to expand my knowledge in both fields unfolded seamlessly, almost as if they were meant to be. The structure of the masters itself incites the innovative side of me to spark, helping not only to observe good examples in the wine industry, but encouraging me to improve them for the future.

Catherine Yorke-Hart

"Wine and tourism... two of my great passions in life, evoked when I spent time as a wine tourist in my beautiful home country, are perfectly encapsulated in one master - Wintour!
This journey has allowed me the opportunity to live, learn and grow as a future wine tourism professional in at least three iconic wine-producing countries, and I am truly blessed to be a part of this experience. I have no doubt that wine tourism is a fantastic tool for development and that it can be used as a driving force for good in so many different ways. Through hands-on experience and knowledge shared with professors, professionals and a multinational, forward-thinking group of students - I'm ready to face the industry head on. During this time I have also grown so much as a person by being exposed to different cultures, people, places and situations, and I have no regrets about saying yes to this wonderful adventure!"
