Wintour is on the news!
Students are the protagonists of this project, being both beneficiaries and promoters of the European Higher Education by means of their real life experience and using social networking but it seems like WINTOUR is arriving to the news from different platforms and sources.
On "LA VANGUARDIA", Spanish daily newspaper, it's mentioned the three host countries and how they have been working together to receiving the master founder by European Union that combines enology, marketing and tourism. The WINTOUR program is a successful partnership between the University of Porto, the Rovira i Virgili University and the University of Bordeaux, all of which are located in areas with a long tradition of wine and its production. This article also counts with some statements from the main coordinator Gemma Beltran.
At "FUNCHAL NOTICIAS", a Portuguese newspaper from Madeira island, was highlighted the master classed managed by "Instituto do Vinho, do Bordado e do Artesanato da Madeira". Madeira wines were featured in a "Fortified Wines Production" class, part of the Master education program. With this action, IVBAM had the opportunity to promote Madeira Wine, mention its particular method of production, which gives it unique and special characteristics to an audience that, being formed in areas directly linked to the wine world, may future to be Madeira Wine ambassadors.
We are also very proud to announce that the WINTOUR programme has been featured in the January issue of the influential French wine magazine "TERRE DE VIN". The 2-page feature article offers a fact file on the course along with pictures showing off some of the incredible experiences our students have had over the last year and a half.
